The Public Language Index is a long-term research project. It archives how European institutions communicate, measures how that communication is changing, and makes the findings publicly available. The goal is to build infrastructure that outlasts any single funding cycle, any single partnership, any single technology wave.
The Observatory is the research engine behind the PLI, powered by PRISM™ diagnostics across ten sectors and seven European languages. The corpus already holds tens of thousands of documents dating back to 2015. Every year that passes makes the baseline more valuable, because it preserves a record of institutional language from before generative AI entered the drafting process.
CopyMama operates through three integrated units. The Observatory produces the research. The Studio applies it through VOICE™ governance frameworks in real organisations. The Academy trains and certifies the professionals who sustain these standards across European markets. Each unit strengthens the others. The more we publish, the stronger the governance. The more we govern, the better the training. The more professionals we certify, the richer the data.
We are actively building partnerships with universities, policy organisations and cultural institutions across Europe, with formal alignment to Horizon Europe research priorities and the EU AI Act's transparency requirements. This is where you come in.
